Angry My horn doesn't blow--help

Just like the title says.....I can honk horn with the alarm remote, but not from the steering wheel. Before I go nuts and rip into the wheel does anyone know how to get in there and fix this, or should I let the dealer do it?
Thanx

Don't let the dealer do it. They will most likely rip your alarm completely out. That's how they handle it at the dealerships in my area. If something on your car fails that is tied to an aftermarket alarm system or security system they will rip the system out, putting it back to stock, and then try and find the problem. If you did the install yourself, double check your work. It's possible you overlooked something. Good luck!

Factory keyless entry/alarm remote, sorry for the confusion. So nothing aftermarket is the culprit. Turned out to be dirty contacts on the pressure pad combined with a blown high note horn.

Check to see if you have 2 horns. Mine sounded really wimpy when I got it, and came to find out that someone had removed the low note horn and all I had was the high note which didn't work for me. I started to go the air horn route but they were just 2 loud for me. I ended up ordering a nice set of replacements from Napa for like $30 and had to actually run wires over to the drivers side where the orignial horn had been cut out. Took maybe an entire 30 minutes to do everything, including soldering the new wires.
