The Wenol Metal Polish. It should do you better than just wax.

I get that too after going through the car wash. I pointed it out to the fellow at the car wash once and he rubbed some tire shine on it and it went away (until the next car wash at least)

I wiped WD-40 on mine. It works for a while but fades.
