What do you suggest for aluminum wheels that are severely oxidated(pitted and chalky)?

Should I wet-sand them first?
If they're REALLY bad you might look into sanding or using a 'wad' not sure where you can find them anymore, but its essentially a tufted cotton attachment for a pneumatic air tool that you can buff out really nasty wheels with.

I'd suggest maybe starting a little more mild. Something as basic as a powerball with our Metal #1 might get you where you want to go. Hard to know until you try.

Thanks for the advice. I remembering buying a wad once, just not sure if I still have it. I do have a powerball, so I'll get some of your polishes and give that a try. But, yea the wheels are REALLY bad after this harsh winter we had.

If it was anyone else I wouldn't believe it's the same wheel.

I have used this. It was the older stuff borrowed from a friend of mine. It works really well, I'll say way better than the can of mothers I have.

I say the stuff works GREAT, and looks one step better if you seal them after polishing.
