Default Lowered truck w flares?

I was wondering what you guys and gals think about a ECSB lowered 2/4 hotchkis with the fender flares. Not hte chrome ones, but the body colored ones that come on the Z71's or maybe the xenon flares? I was thinking the flares might kinda pring out the hood and make the truck look muscley. But im not sure. I think i've seen it done on here but i cant recall who. Anyways, pics of my truck on the link in my sig. Any advice would be great.

Yeah I think that it can look pretty cool myself. I'm not sure about the name, but I think your talkin' about QuicksilverZ71 or something like that.

I've been pondering the exact same thing myself for the past couple of days. The OEM flares look a little boxy to me though. I'm contemplating getting a set of Bushwacker Street Flares and painting them. I think this guy may have Street Flares (or something similar)

I think if they are painted they COULD flow well with the truck

heres a few pics of a truck w/ fender flares. I dunno if I like it or not.
Maybe it will look good if you have wheel that will fill up the whole wheel-well and the flare.

I thought I might want some as well, being my 20x9 centerlines' stick out just a hair....so I bought a set off of Ebay for $100. When they came, I had my son hold one up to the front and my wife hold one up to the back so I could "visualize it". I wound up putting them BACK on Ebay and got $125 for them! At least something came out of it. I must admit tho, that yellow truck looks pretty good. I'm just too old for the whole body kit look thing...lol. There was a red truck in the Sylin' concepts catalogue that made me want them in the first place, but it also had a body kit on it. Anyway....that's my .02.

no no no. if you want to clutter up your truck with some useless **** then go for it. But, if not, keep it clean.
