Default Lowered my Truck

I have a '04 GMC Sierra RCSB. I installed the 2" McGaughy's springs with McGaughy's Hangers and Ground Control Shackles on the back.

I love how low the back is, but the front only went down about 1-1/4" and it sits too level in my opinion. I always thought a 2-4 would have some rake...does this not ring true on RCSB's? I looked at pics of Beastmode's truck and his has quite a bit more rake than mine. Some 2-4's look level to me and some don't. I might cut the coils or try using some spring clamps as I don't really want to take the coils back out...mainly because I am lazy.

if u cut the coils u have to take out the coil anyway. but on that note you did JUST put them in, give it a while they will settle down a lil more.

a 2/4 drop sits pretty much level, a 3/4 would give you that raked look.
Beastmode has a roll pan and that gave it a little rake, no bumper

yeah wait it out a bit. let the springs up front settle a little before you go cutting stuff.

Yeah, I didn't think about the roll pan taking weight off the back. Also, I still have my spare tire hanging off the back. I will give it a little more time to settle. I just didn't figure it would settle that much more. Thanks for the input. Since the passenger side sits about a 1/2" higher, it really looks like the back is lower than the front. On a side note, very happy with the ride of the springs.

my 2/4 sits my truck totally level. When I took my spare and the bumper off (prior to drop) it raised the rear up enough to notice and pushed my decision to drop over the cliff.
