Just an fyi, I ran that 12.31 at a little after 3pm Hottest part of the day. As it started getting later my 60 ft times went away. There wasnt that much tail wind. You should run at Wichita when the wind is coming at 40 plus out of the south.

Yeah it wasn't that much wind just like i stated in page 1 but i was assuming it was helping a little bit because i ran my best time at 1:30 but my speed went up 1 mph at around 3 to 4. Plus you have a car so your right, it prob didn't help you at all. Either way, that car is damn impressive!

Sweet truck nice setup. Sorry to go a little off topic here but i like the wheel you you choose to run with your slicks. Im trying to figure out something that will work for slicks on my rig too. With that said what drop are you running on your truck 3/4?

Yeah those slicks look good from a side view but they have a really bad offset. Its a 15x8 with a 3.5 inch backspace, so they stick out real bad. Anyways i got some new wheels and slicks for a very decent price. Click on my build thread in my signature and go to the last page, those wheels cost me 106 a piece shipped and they are 16x8 with a 5.5 inch backspace. And as for the drop, read somewhere in the first 2 pages, i explained what i did.

Didnt find anything on drop info on that thread. Im just trying to figure out how low you are, and your fender height measurments. So i can figure out how much room i have to run a slick that sticks out a little to much. I think im to low regaurdless just curious though thanks.

Also, I cut half of the rubber off of the rear bump stops and clamped the overloads to the remaining leaf spring in the back to help eliminate axle hop. Works great but it does still hit the bump stop in the back when it launches. I think i'll add some caltrac's and that should keep it from hitting the bump stops so bad.
