Default looking at a new hood.

Hey guys i'm looking at getting a new hood. The truck is going to be in the shop getting some dents pulled and the paint for the rear end redone. i'm sick and tired of my hood because the paint never sticks and has been repainted 5-6 times now. I was looking at this hood.

no. it's a one off that was made from the caddy hood and the scoop from an s-10 hood. the hood was basically glued together and that glue expands and contracts with heat, causing the paint to break away and bubble or crack

Seen one on a black escalade a while back. Looked pretty decent.

just my opinion, I like tha stock hood best. it's sleek and sexy, seems to be too much goin on with the aftermarket hoods. again just my opinion

On one with stock paint it may not look good but it does on bright colors and may on custom paint like yours. There is a guy somewhere in the OKC/Moore area that has a Escalade in bright red with that hood as the only mod besides paint and rims and it looks slick.

Not a fan, but I'm not a fan of ram-air hoods in general...
