Further out would be fine... the problem is the clearance between the tire and control arm at full rack is close as it is with a wider tire>>> but then again the 18" isnt 10" wide like 22s and 24s... I'll do some research on this. I had not looked before as I thought the NBS trucks (gmt900) had different lug pattern. Thanks guys... I'm going to look at the forged wheels... I never buy the cheapest of anything especially if I know it's the lowest quality- but I will have to weigh my budget against the quality.

I run escalade 18's, they fit fine and weigh 28lbs each

I'm going to try to source some near me and see that they will fit over my brakes... found some for $600 with perfect tires... a little over 100 miles away, if I get the time I may check them out.
