I have done a search and saw many threads on this but still didn't find an answer. I have a 00' 5.3 that was stock height and I added a set of Bell tech 2" drop shackles, but the rear is still about 1.5 inches higher. Is there something that I am missing as to why the truck is not level? The leafs are in the uppermost whole which should give it the full 2" drop, right? I also have a set of GM 2" drop shackles but holding next to each other there is no difference in length. Do they make a 3" shackle? Maybe the shackles are in a bind, but I am pretty sure they are not. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, what was the solution? Thanks in advance.

 

The shackles I got lowered my truck 3 inches, they actually had two sets of holes in them and i measured the two, one was a 2 inch and the other was a 3 inch. My truck now sits dead nuts level. Ill find out what brand they were and let u know.

 

Is it a 4x4 or 2x4??
