I've had pretty good luck with the amber/orange DRLs in my truck. I swapped them so they are orange and everything else is white.

Thx for the tips on the headlights. I must have been doing something wrong yesterday. 4 pushes of the domelight button makes em go off.

Here are a couple pics of the DTRL LEDs. Not great pic but you can at least get an idea. They look really cool in person and like stated above, if I didn't like em I'd just sell em. LOL

I had to take these in the garage because my roomate was washing his car in the driveway and i was blocked in.

i think anything will last longer than those DRL's. GM used a bulb that was similar to turning signals which aren't use to being on for long periods of time. they are more for intermittent use. i just let mine burn out. i like not having them, especially since i have GTS blackouts

I am pretty confused on the LED's I got. I ordered the 3157-W20's, the ones recommended for the DRL's (20 ct.). Well, they wont fit at all, and wont work any way I try. When I put them in the turn signal socket, they fit and work perfectly! What going wrong here?

That's odd.

Mine fit tight but fine otherwise.

I thought it was because my sockets were warped because of the other bulbs I had in there. I actually had to break some of the plastic away to get the bulb in since some of the platic was so warped the housing wasn't round anymore.

I basically had to press kind hard to get them to seat. Do your's look like they should fit?

They mostly look like they will fit... but they will never like "snap in". I will try to push in harder later on, but I dont wanna break the bulb. I just found it weird that it worked well in the turn signal socket, I thought you needed a special kit for that to work. I will keep you updated, and thanks for your help!

NP man. I know what you mean about fearing it will break. I felt the same way and got annoyed and said to hell with it and pressed harder and they went in. Go figure.

I don't wanna TELL you to press harder cuz if they break I would feel bad but thats what I did.

Thanks for the advice. If I break it, I might might just order the 12 ct bulbs... 5.99 a piece if I remember correctly. I'll let ya know how it goes man

I could send you my 12ct bulbs if you break yours. I would kinda feel bad since you would have never ordered em if I hadn't posted LOL

Besides, the 20ct look MUCH better. That's why i don't have the 12ct in anymore.

They looked AWESOME in the blinkers... they were blindingly bright, and very clear.
