LED Lights In

Well I went with James' suggestion and got 3 6 bulb LEDs and 3 5 bulb LED's. I was able to take the stock bulbs out of their holders and reuse the holders for the LEDs. I set em up 2 ways, one with the 6 bulbs in the main part of the cluster (tach & speedo) with the 5's at the other gauges (voltage, gas, oil, temp) (Setup 1) and then I switched em (Setup 2). All 6 bulbs ran ~27 total from superbrightleds.com
Here's the original gauge.

Here's the setup with the 6 bulbs in the speedo/tach part

Here's the setup with the 5 bulbs in the speedo/tach part

I think the 5 in the speedo/tach looks the best and the most even.

Looks good man. I went with the 5 also. I am looking to get some different needles. US Speedo has some needle kits but I can't decide on which ones to get. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

For the radio I'm not sure what's back there. Not sure if I can just solder in 10 replacement LED's or if I need resistors on all of those too. Of course if I went crazy I would do what you did and get an aftermarket with that sweet mounting plate. Not yet though.

Yeah you can use 3mm leds in the four buttons-and six 5mm leds in the **** section. You can't just lay the leds in because they project in a certain area. I (very carefully) drilled four more holes in the circuit board. The smd leds are for the window switches-I have no idea where to even look for them. O4BlackSilverado could probably help you with the radio-I beleive he did his. If you want to look at my hvac ill be back from college on March 5th, and I'm only about 20 min north of ALbany-I used to live in Colonie.
