Does anyone else have a rear sliding window that leaks because of the plastic being broken around the window? What has anybody else done to correct the problem?

 

Dealerships were replacing them with a different brand of window because they had lots of problems with cracking on the previous ones. I went through 3 before I got the new kind. Is your dealership really cool or do you have any warranty left?

 

I don't have any warranty left. Its been long gone so I am on my own.

 

My 2000 with the rear slider had that problem. The dealership informed me that most of the trucks they had sold with the rear slider had the same problem. I caught mine 2 days after I bought it. They told me at the time that there was no campaign on it but they were just replacing them as they were brought in. It might not hurt to take it in to your dealership to see if they might at least help you out on it. If not put in one of the cool power sliders that are available.

 

It's worth a try I guess.
