Default Lakes and Mountains

These shots are from my weekend road trip to Reno Nevada, Lake Tahoe and a quick stop by the Naval mothbal fleet on the Sacramento river on the way home.

I posted in the Western section earlier but though I'd throw them up here too show you my truck does more than ride the short strip

Dont laugh too hard

At more than 8000' altitude...no racing here!

This a view of Lake Tahoe from the pass over from Carson city. One hell of a great road, have to get my bike up here.

There are hundred's of ships here, from good old "Liberty" ships to Battleships and Cruisers. Next time I go to Sacramento I will get up on the hill top and take a better, panaramic view for you.
I have no idea what is inside the hangar....you? I saw a documentary on the History channel where they went here and showed what was involved in "mothballing" a ship and interviewed the commander of the fleet.

I love heavy metal
