Default Keep them CLEAN

I have chrome 22" and after I wash my truck and wipe wheels down they get water streaks on them. I used a liquid wax on them to get the spots off but then it makes them dusty. What is everyone use to keep them shine and free of any water spots or streaks??

On the chrome wheels on my mustang, After I wash it, I take it around the block so it spins the water off. When I get back, the wheels are clean and dry. This also eliminates the problem of the water in the lug holes. I used to hate when I would move it for whatever reason and there still be a little bit of water that runs down the wheels.

Didn't even think about that. Any glass cleaner for that matter works well.

after I wash it, I roll back and forth so all the water gets out of the lug holes and I just dry them completely. no water spots or streaks for me

The best way is after you wash it, put the petal to the floor and let the water fly off.

My wheels are polished, but they'll get water spots on them if I let them dry. I don't like wiping them down either as it can scratch them and they'll have to be repolished to look like new again. I've found that 80 psi of compressed air will blow the water out of all the lug holes and off the wheel quite nicely

Try Never Dull, it will take the spots off and leave them nice and pretty.

Another thing you might want to try is making a home-made Mr. Clean AutoDry wash gun. Alot of your water spots are caused by minerals in your tap water that are left behind when the water evaporates. I simply went to the hardware store picked up an inline water filter and I use it everytime I rinse off the soap, never leaves any spots and a hell of alot cheaper that the AutoDry kit, not to mention the price of filters.
