Yeah im prepping all the peices *only way i could get the paint for free lol*. Its honestly not that bad of a deal, i am doing it by hand to- no electric stuff. Anyways ive got everything sanded down and primered to perfection, except for the big big dash peice. Ive inspected every peice under a bright light and microscope to make sure theres no texture left what so ever *exaggerating a bit lol*. But yeah i'll check up on that Chromobase Indigo Blue from dupont, and the same clearcoat. Laterz guyz

Im gonna be taking pics of my interior before the paint * i had some lil parts painted with shaker cans and not fully sanded down lol, was ok for a while*. Than some pics of my truck without the dash section, prep work pictures, and finally the final product pictures. Im very excited about this- my fiancee, lil brother, and my dad have helped with some stuff like fighting with the peices to come off, sanding and prepping. Summer will be crazier, were doing the exterior lol. Thanx for everything guys. Ill definately get some pics, might need some help hosting though. laterz

once i got my glovebox off I drilled out the rivets so that I had two separate pieces for the bodyshop to mess with...during reassembly the 7mm screws held the glovebox back in without any problems...

Captains log day 3, just got the "oh ****" bar off, had to whack the hell out of a clip on one side, cut my thumb on the side on some metal...looks infected...doesn't look good. I will wait for my co-worker *lil bro* to get home and help me take the rest of the dash off, for now i will rest and read more on this online manual. Captain out.
