Angry Inst. Cluster and Vortech Eng. Decal Question?

hey all.....I have some questions.

First off....the main priority. Does anyone know where to purchase the evidently rare "Vortech Engines" decal....the one that was pictured in the 2002 GM Performance Parts Catalong...in the back. It's a great looking design but simple using only black and white. It kinda looks like a Vortex supercharger decal because of the curved blade desing on the top and bottom. Or if anyone knows where I can buy custome Decals and stickers. I can send them a design...taken from the catalog.

Next....I am looking for a used, new...whatever...just not $400.....for a 2003 SS Silverado Guage Cluster or a 2003 - 2002 Denali or Escalade cluster.
I work for a GM dealer and my cost...being an employee is $325.00. Jeeze!!! And now my Regional GM Parts HelpTech tells me...that I can't order new ones anymore.....that I have to send the old, defective one to an AC Delco Reapir Shop and have it fixed. So, I told him....I don't have a bad one....mine is a stock one....I want to install one of the afore mentioned ones, because it looks nicer...and I like it. Well.......being a GM "company" man...that preaches...stock, stocl, stock......almost freaked out when I told him and he said..."no, no....don't be doing that! You are tampering with the milage and that's going to void your warranty and that's illegal"......whew! So...I just had to say....alright...chill out.

That's my perdicament. Anyone got any suggestions?

I found these guys last night. Try them....it's address is. www.decalcenter.com

They have a lot of Vortec decals in they're system.

But, I have an original picture of the Vortec Engines decal with the "swoosh" graphics. It's in the back of a 2002 GM Performance Parts catalog. I am going to scan it in and import the pic. to Corell Picture Maker program, so I can crop it and size it. Then zoom the Vortec decal design to the 4.5 inch size that I want, and then print it out. That way I can email it the DecalCenter and they can make a decal exactly like the Original!!! Because I think the original is probably the best, and coolest looking decal that has ever been designed by GM.

Send me your email address and I'll email you a copy/attachment of the Vortec Engines original desing.

Scan it with a high resolution (say around 600dpi, at miniumum, the higher the better). that way it will turn out crisp and clear. Yeah, it might look big on your screen (even after you size it to 4.5"), but it will be worth it.

Yea it sucks they discontinued those stickers. If decalcenter starts making them let us know, I'm definetly interested in a few. Didn't they have "Powered by" on them too? I'll have to grab an old GMPP catalog.
