Does anyone know if the stock SS front bumper will directly bolt on to a 2004 Silverado???? A couple of places are tellin me that I have to get the Street Sceans aftermarket bumper. But it looks like ****. And its just a cover that goes on top of the factory bumper.

 

I'm 90% sure it is a direct bolt on. There was a member over on another forum that did the same thing to his truck (not sure how much work he put into it). The OEM SS bumper would probably look and fit better, but be prepared to pay a lot more for it.

 

I can get the SS bumper from the dealer that i bought my truck from for almost half of what the after market one costs. I dont see why it wouldnt be a direct bolt on since its a silverado anyways. But i will keep checkin intill i find out for sure. ****** dealer dont know ****. ****** idiots.

 

Half of what the aftermarket one costs??? Hook a brother up man!!

Yes it will fit (I see no reason why it wouldn't) and IIRC the factory ones are bumper covers as well.

I'm sure an SS owner on here can confirm or deny this.
