how to take headlights apart?

Default how to take headlights apart?

i need to know how to take the lights apart without breaking them in detail too please

On the truck in your sig? You cant as far as I know.

On a 03+ chevy or 99+ GMC you put them in the oven at 200 for 10-15 minutes, and pry them open.

they have these little snap on clips on the outside of it so youd think it would come apart

I have only done mine (09), and the answer for that is DREMEL. Yours may be able to be heated though....

yes you can do them same as 99+ sierras and 03+ silverados but my question is why???? remove the metal tabs ,heat them, pry apart with butter knife gentlely, use clear silicone to seal back up. but they dont have amber markers in them like sierra's and 03+ silverado's , the bottom corner light does but thats made into the plastic itself its not a piece you can take out like sierrs and newer silverados. i had a 99 silverado 2500 and 02 sierra so i know what your refering to

I used a hair blow dryer (set on hot n warm) for my 04 GMC headlights to take off the amber reflector. pry open with a knife or flat head....

put them in the oven for 10-12 minutes set at 225 degrees, pry them apart with a butter knife. be sure you wear gloves
