Default How to run Bigger Tires out Back?

Anyone ever think to get a Quadrasteer Bed, without the Quadrasteer, and running big-azz tires?

I have had this idea befor. If one had a wide side bed, one could replace the bed skins and be in. It would look bad *** with some HUGE tires back there.

A guy in my area did that with a dually 454, regular cab, long bed, OBS truck and ran some WIDE Mickey Thompson's out back. That thing looks pretty awesome.

I've thought about it, but it's not gonna be cheap at all. Check out www.car-part.com. They are SUPER expensive, like $2000-3500!

Weird, I had that idea before but not sure if it would be the same length and would match up with the reg cab trucks. Would look nice if can be achieved!

I recently saw an 99-02 chevy z71 with this mod. didn't notice it at first, but it looked sweet with the 03 & up tail lights. i wonder if swapping the bed out from a stepside would be the same as a swap from a fleet side?

i might not be right but i think the quadrasteer beds are 5 3/4' long and the reg shortbed is 6' long.
