How to color match front bumper plastic?
Like title says, what do I use to color match plastic? I know I will need the color, but what prep is involved (i.e. sanding, primer, etc.)?

I just got done doing mine, this is what I did.
1. Sand it with rough sand paper (80 grit) using a block.
2. Applied some adhension promoter (3 coats), I bought it at the auto parts store.
3. Allow adhension promoter to sent for 20 min.
4. Apply a coats of heavy fill primer, do not use self-etching!!!
5. Wet sand the primer with some 180 grit sand paper.
6. Repeat step 4 and 5 at least 3 time, more if you still feel or see the orginal wrinkles from the plastic.
7. Wash the bumper using dish washing soap.
8. Wipe down with rubbing alcohol.
9. Wipe down with Prep solution.
10. Spray base coat, at least 3 coats.
11. allow to set for about 30-60 min.
12. Apply at least 3 coats of clear, may 4 if you going to color sand.
13. Allow clear to cure for at least 1-2 day.
14. Wet sand with 1000-1200 grit sand paper, be sure to go SLOW and not burn threw the clear.
15. Machine buff the clear with some light polishing compound or micro-rubbing compound.
16. Machine buff with swirl remover, make sure to change the buffing pad.
17. apply some glaze.
do not wax for about a month to allow paint to fully cure otherwise the paint will be brittle and chip easily.
I did these steps for my mirrors and bumper. check out the pics
