Default Hotchkis, anything I need to know?

I am going to install my hotchkis kit lowering kit tomorrow. Is there anything I need to know about the install that may not be in the instructions. I know with the belltech spindles I put on a few years ago I had to cut the tie rod ends to line it up. Do you have to with the coils. I think I will loosen the lower control arms and take the coil out the back.

I tried to do it one at a time "dumass me"
I also drove mine about 200 miles then had it lined up
that made a huge difference

No problems with my install either. Everything you need parts wise comes with the kit and there is no fabricating involved.

Did you change your shocks too? How is your ride?

Nope, still running the stock shocks. I plan on ordering some Edelbrocks very soon. The ride is ok with the stock shocks but it's pretty obvious when driving that they aren't up to the task of a stiffer lowered suspension.

I got the front on today and it got to storming so I will finish the back up in the morning. I think I am really going to like this kit. The front was simple to put on. I don't think it sets as low as the belltech spindles I had on it before. Will have someone to post some pics for me when I get it done.

Don't forget that over time the springs will sag and set in a little.

Yeah I know. I am going to get a slam air kit for the back because I tow a couple of atv's and some things from time to time. How much did yours settle,I really don't want it to much because I didn't want a real low drop anyways. I just wanted to set it down a little and where it is right now is where I want it.

I can't give you a measureable amount but they did sag a little but nothing drastic. It was more along the lines of one day noticing that the front sat a little lower than it used too.
