Default Hit Someone :(

I hit someone today and messed up my rear bumper and I was wondering if someone could roughly estimate how much that one is gonna cost me. Maybe I'll get a roll pan out of the deal. Everyones good though, no one got hurt. It just totally screwed up the explorer I hit. Thanks to GM for putting out vehicles that do more damage to others than their own

Sweet, the SS rollpan I want is 180 off of sporttruckdirect. I figure I might as well tell the story. I was runnin late this morning to go take one of my finals and I wasnt paying attention when I backed out of the driveway and I feel the truck stop and hear a loud boom. I was like oh crap. So I got out, checked on the other people, checked on my truck, saw how much damage I had done to theirs and then did the whole insurance/police thing. The scary part was when I felt the truck shake and I looked over I saw large pieces of plastic flying through the air. That sucked. Heh, it turns out that the Ford wasn't able to drive away and I drove mine to work today. I need a new bumper and new driverside rear quarter panel. The Explorer needs a new tire, new passenger side doors, and I really couldnt tell about the front or back quarter panels on it. Moral of the story: Always look before you back out of your driveway (W00t I get a roll pan!)

A roll pan would look great, but if you ever do what you did today again, you're screwed. If you get into a wreck like that with a roll pan, you'll be replacing your tailgate, bed sides, and fixing some damage to the cab. I got rear ended by a Mustang. I had a bumper and a hitch and it still pushed the bed into the cab. Luckily, it was only a minor dent in the cab. Just my opinion.
