Default HID Kit for lows and DTLs Questions

I was wanting to add a HID kit to my lows and Day-Time-Lights. I don't ever think I have used my High Beams so I don't want to upgrade those..

So this is the kit i found on ebay. I was thinking of getting the 8k for the lows.

Is it a good kit?

I was looking at just getting Silverstars 7k for the fogs, will they melt the housing? Should I get another HID 8k kit for these too?

For the DTL i was thinking about these LEDs

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated

HID's run cooler than regular lights. Only thing you have to even think about is your factory wiring might not suffice to power the lights. This is rarely a problem, but heat is not the issue wiring is. They draw more power than halogens.

HID kits are pretty cheep,
add a relay before the ballasts, most kits that are on ebay do not come with a relay kit unless you ask and pay extra for one. They draw more power on start up vs running. Make your own with a "fog lamp kit" or buy one with the HIDs for 10-15.
your lows are a 9006 and the fogs are a 9145, or 880s
4300 are the most white
the higher the number the less usable light they put out

I got the cheapies off ebay and have liked them so far. They just wire in backwards which threw me for a couple minutes, but they've worked great and I can see great, I went with 5ks.
