Default Hid ?

I just installed a McCulloch HID kit on my 05 Sierra and love the light output compared to the silverstars I had before.

Is it normal for HIDs when they are first turned on to be a little dim and brighten up after about 5 seconds?

Yes, very normal. Mine do the same thing. I have McCulloch 4300K.

Mine do the same thing, brighten up a little. Its like a fluorescent light in cold weather. Takes a while to "heat" up.
