I got the hood brand new from Summitracing at Hot August Nights as a clearance item for $150.oo. The hood is made by Harwood, and it is ridiculously light.

Thanks.

I have had several ersions of a functional ram air, but right now I dont have anything hooked up because of my nitrous. But, if you look into the holes of the scoops you can see my nitrous solenoids and Im building a purge for the scoops.

Sorry about hijacking your thread but

hey golden velvet, is your truck lowered? are those stock wheels? how much was the paint? does the hood come w/ parts to run ram air? i'm planning a 2/4 drop and a set of 18" boyds (timeless 6). i think that hood would look great on my white reg cab short bed. either the ram air like yours or the 3" cowl also from harwood.

The back was lowered 2", The wheels are stock Denalli 17's. The hood does not come with parts to make it ram air. But with E-fans and no shrowd there is lost of room to work with. I have had two diffeerent ram air setups with this hood that I made with a little TIG welding and alot of alluminum. And the other was all plastics and lexan.

Just shackles, not really 2" more like 1.75" drop shackles. With thats short of a drop your fine with stock shocks
