So I just got done removing the rear blocks and installing my cheap -o winter 245x75x16 tires, I don't really like the way the truck looks. I'm not sure if some good looking rims and tires would fix that. What do you think?
Any ideas on wheel design?
Tire size? they need to be tall. I don't want a OD shift in the 1/4 mile
Rims must be light!!! I don't need this thing going any slower.
I have a budget so no super high priced rims please.
Now for pic. Please, feel free to photoshop
And yes Some dayit will have a SS air dam

What size wheels are you interested in? I would get an 18" wheel if you want to enhance the looks of your truck without hurting acceleration. Also, I would not get a tire greater than 30.5" in diameter if you are worried about the performance of your truck. Your current tires are approx. 30.5". Since you want a lightweight wheel that doesn't cost alot, I would consider the Centerline Stingray III:

...or the Centerline Rapid:

As for tires, I would get some 285/55-18 Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires:

If your really on a budget, I think a set of the new 18" Escalade wheels would look good. However, even tho the wheels can be bought for like $300 a set, tires might make it less afordable, depending on what you go with. Take of the Z71 sticker and it will help a ton.

bye bye Z71 stickers and moldings
Only problem with the escalade wheels is the center cap not matching. Im going to get a set to run drag radials on but IMO vehicles look retarded with wheels that a center cap that doesnt match the brand.
