Default Help deciding tires

I just bought a set of Denali 17" wheels and need help deciding what tires to get. I can't decide between 275/60/17 and 285/60/17. I really like the 285's, SierraC3's truck looks really tight with those Hankooks. My other decision is what brand to get.

Hankook Ventus RH06

Kumho Ecsta STX

Yokohoma AVS ST

Toyo Proxes ST

I've had Kumho's before and they gripped very well, but didn't last but 35k miles. Any input would be appreciated.

Dont know much on the rest but stay away from the Kumho's. I had them and they felt really spongy and wore out extremely fast. ................... I had a perfect alignment done to check if that was the prob. ....................... Nope those tires just suck.

You've already had your own problem with them too I see.

I'd go with the 275 only because I dont like fat tires, and I know the 275 is still fat but those are the 2 choices... as far as brand, I'd roll the hankooks

I've had 275/60-17's on 3 vehicles and love them. I ran both BFG and Goodyear GTII's. I will try toyo's next.

Yea, I loved the Nitto's I had before, but they don't make the size I want. Either they're too small or too big. I'm still thinking about what size and what tires to get. I know that the Toyo's have a 420 tread rating, which I hear will give you good mileage.

Are you from the Fresno area? I saw a truck like yours at Almeda and the Beltway. (the 05 rims is what I noticed)

I have the HANKOOK Ventus Sts on my Denali Rims, I am running 285/60/17s, the tries are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!. I have never seen a tire soak thru the rain like these do. The spray they shoot up is phenominal. They handle nice too, nice quiet ride and lots of tread.
