Default Help with cleaning..... please

Hey guys... awhile back i had a blow out on my Rear Passenger side.. the tire torn the badging off the bed for me.. but left this "Dirt Stain"

Today i wanted to take this little piece off the Cab and see what happened...

And got to lookin at all my Badging... all of them have a good 7 Years of mud, dirt, junk built up behind them.... before i start on this adventure i got to find somthing to take this stuff off...

What yall think?
The adhesive is easy to get off and all the glue... just this dern dirt thats made its home in my paint... i even tried my fingernail and that didnt work.

I use Goo Gone on the glue and it just wipes off..

Advice???

Looks like years of wax build-up around the badging, and the paint under the badge looks new while the rest of the truck is slightly sun bleached.
You might try claying, polishing and waxing, or if necessary perhaps polishing compound to blend? Just my .02

a rubbing compound would take that right off. after that might as well polish the whole truck with a glaze

I debadged my old truck that was 4 years old and had the same problem,I used a rubber eraser that you attach to a drill motor, then as everyone is saying clay bar the area. You can buy those rubber eraser's at a bodyshop supplier, they work really good and dont scratch your paint

by any chance was the truck ever in a wreck or repainted??

reason i ask is cause my old truck was... if you look at where the moldings used to be you can see that same mark on my truck, they said they dont tkae the moldings off alot of times when they repaint cars, they just tape em off... i must say yours looks alot like mine did, it may very well be dirt tho

Not "rubbing" compound, it's too abrasive. Polishing compound and that only if clay, polish and wax does not do it.
