help before I pull the trigger racestar
#1
I have a silverado SS
Currently wearing 22"

They are going up for sale. I want a nice clean set of 17" wheels for street/strip use.
Before I pull the trigger on a set of racestars.
Wondering how a set of 17x9 with 6.5" backspacing is gonna fit???
or any negatives to the swap??
Smaller tire 275/55r17
Should be a nice light set up 20lb wheels + 35lb tires should be in around 55 lb's total.

If you have drums in the rear I would go 15x10-6.5bs...... Cheaper and better tire options..... If I were to spend the money I would buy bogarts, I think they are a cheaper in price them race stars and look way better IMO. Good luck with the search

5-lug stuff on my truck and swapping back over 6 lug to order a set of bogarts. So I will get exact prices for comparison

$400 each that is for bogarts where racestars are half the price. Not sure why anyone would go back to six lug but to each his own. You can get a really nice wheel like a center line or billet specialty in 5 lug for a lot less than bogarts. I believe they are right around $250 or so each.
No question Bogarts are top of the line. So if you have the funds, I'd go bogarts but in a 5 lug version
