ok.... i have the factory sierra head lights with HIDs in them, if i buy projector head lights like the denali and after market, would my HIDs work well in them? or i have to use the projector?

i dont know about the denali head light but after market no. it is all enclosed i dont think you can even change the bulbs in them, well that few that i have installed of other trucks.

You shouldn't have any problems - I've seen this done on a number of trucks. The only issue may be the quality of the light. Projector lenses are meant to work with certain types of bulbs. A lot of the HIDs I've seen behind such lenses certainly produce bright light, but it's not particularly well focused or evenly disbursed. In other words, you may blind the guy coming at you without really improving your visibility.

Stock sierra low beams are 9006, stock denali low beams are 9005, and most aftermarket projectors use smaller bulbs, typically fog light bulbs. The kit you have now will not even work in the other housings. If you notice, most factory cars with HIDs do have projectors as it focuses the light better, but any housing not made for HIDs may produce results like mentioned above. However, many have used HIDs in denali lights with great success.
