Default HD cowl hood

Does any one know of an HD hood with cowl induction for the 99-02 body style? I know they make cowl hoods for the HD but they arent high in the front like the stock hood. I am looking for that big meaty hood and a 2 or 3 inch cowl. I dont want to have to get a stock hood and have a cowl f-glassed on there. I want it to be somewhat functional... maybe a flipper?? thanks for the help guys... oh yeah... this is for my 00 1/2 ton... the HD hoods look bad *** on the 1500's ... just want a cowl too... am I asking too much????

Ben, I've seen a guy around here with a black scsb with an HD hood... I don't remember if it's a cowl though. I'll search for the pic... I can't remember his screen name either.

No HD Cowl that I am aware of. The only thing I know you could do is buy a HD hood and a universal cowl clip and put them together. Other than that, you would have to settle for one or the other.

Well, I dont belive there are many HD hoods out there with a Cowl hood but reflexxions is the only manufactuerer who makes one for the 99-02's. Here's a pic. Look closely you can see the HD the grill and the HD stock high front blended with a cowl.

Heres the web site: click HERE

But if you want a cowl hood with a flipper door this is what you want. Is not an HD hood though! But it'll work with the HD grill. The truck in the pic gots an HD grill and bumber pad. Keystone makes this one.

IMO, this one doesn't look like it has the HD front, looks like the stock hood with a cowl.

I am either going to go with the flipper or I'll just have to have one fabbed up I guess. I love the way the HD looks on the 1500's. I just wanted a cowl to go with it.... thanks for the input guys. Thanks for looking.... Real quick.... how do you get a pic on your sig??? I have a good shot of my sled I want to put on there. dont know exactly how though.
