Default Hanger Install

Today I received my Eibach Rear hanger & shackle kit. I was reading the instructions and it said that it's recommended that you remove the bed. Do you guys have any tips on installing these? How did you install yours?

It said to remove the bed and gas tank. The drill out the rivets and grind them smooth. Then bolt up the new hangers. Does this sound right?

The gas tank does have to dropped to remove the rivets.

if you have the opportunity to take off the bed, it will make things alot easier.

I had to do it on the ground. Just take your time, and cuss alot... you'll eventually get through it.

Didn't have to move the gas tank or bed on the hangers. But that was due to a carefully placed torch used to get the rivets out. As for the shackles, on a step side, the back 4 bolts on the bed does have to be loosened to raise it up enough to get the bolts out.
