i got a chip in my windshield the other day and its right in my line of sight so i need to get a new one... i have a strip of tint on the top and bottom of my windshield currently...


so rather than doing that again i wanted to smoke the whole windshield lightly and do another banner or brow over than on the top with dark tint...only question i got is what percent do you guys with fully tinted windshields run...i wouldnt think no darker than 35% so maybe around 50%...just looking for some input and pics!

 

i got 15% on my windshield and 5%over15% on eveything else on my 04 i truck i use to have i had 35% on windshield wasnt dark enough for me but it was pretty dark i wanted darker so u could only see my knuckles with windows down a lil(50% would be a waste of money)

 

Most I have seen are running 35%. Some will have 50%, some 20%, and like above some 15%

 

got 35% on mine, wouldn't mind using 30 or maybe 25. I have been pulled over twice since the windshield got tinted and they have never said anything about it and both times were by Texas DPS, aka hard asses i'll try to get you a good pic

 

i like mine being 15% its just a tad bit darker at nite with the vision than it was with the 35% only time it sucks is if i get on a back road around herre and got my flip out tv up at nite then i have a problem a lil but i gotten use to it so. but when it rains to me its just like looking through 35% its not as bad as the ppl who tinted said it would but

Damn we would get pulled over faster then **** with a tinted windshield...

100% agree with^^^ as we get mean mugged in Ny all the time with tinted windows as mine are 35%...

 

No doubt, mine are 15 sides an 5 on the back, I roll them down if I see a cop, even if it is cold as **** raining or snowing, they def give the mean mug

i havent gotten pulled over yet rainsville here wont bother me cause i know them and i got them to check my windows too see what it would show on the tint meter, but however on my 04 truck i had last year windows was the same just the windshield was 35% and i got a ticket for it but was never bothered but i ran up on a state trooper near my house and he pulled over and i took off and he put the lights on lol got speeding and window tint but got out of it since i good friends with the judge "s son here so it wasnt nothing and we do have tint law ppl get pulled over more for 15% than i do
