Unhappy Guage panel q's

Anyone have a problem with the display on their guage panel? Mine was on and off, and i could get it to come on by slapping the top of the dash (lightly, of course). Now it doesn't come on at all. Haven't taken it out yet, but wanted to know if anyone has had this happen. I've been thinkin about an excalade cluster, anyone that has one, how'd u get the mileage programmed (if you did)?

p.s.-hard to keep track of oil changes with it like this.

Maybe remove the cluster and reseat the plug? It's very easy to remove it and there's a single plug in the rear.

Get the Escalade Cluster! They're awesome Got mine off ebay, guy never programmed it. You should be able to get it programmed when you order it. If not, check this this thread out and you should be able to save some $$$. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=126537
