ok on my 02 chevy ive got that crappy lookin chrome slits or knock outs or what ever you wanna call them, will it hurt to knock them out and then get a grill instert of some kinda???? i broke a couple of them off by mistake screwin with the grille

 

Cut them out - plenty of people have. Get some nice billet inserts.

ill cut them bitchs out tomrrow mornin, i took my bowtie today to get painted victory red, i almost did torch red but i think that woulda been to bright on a black truck so stuck with victory red

 

Billet grilles always look so much better if they require the stock grille to be removed.
