Default Got the US Spedo Overlay installed pics and a problem

OK finally got it installed on the cluster looks sweet as hell

got it from the site sponsor autoanything

Well I went ot put it in the truck and now the OD and the gear selector part wont light up for some reason. The blinkers and all those indicators works and it the backlight of it works but just the little digital section doesnt I dont understand. I put the overlay on like two weeks ago then it set in the garage for a while then I finally put it back in the truck now it doesnt want to work any ideas?

Dont know if your problem is the same, but when I did my white guages, the guage lens that went over the gear display was too dark to see thru. I cut it out, but that was kind of bright. See if you can see it in the dark with the interior lights brightened all the way up.

Yeah Ill look and see if that is the problem better not be for how much damn money I spent on that ****** overlay. I dont think it is cause if I remember correctly it doesnt have a lens there for the overlay. I found a place that will fix it for 100 bucks if I cant figure it out on my own. Damn this **** just keeps pilling up

Yes ALOT of people have that problem main thing is taiking your time and not turnign the shafts of the gauges when putting the needles back on. You need to take the readings from teh needles with the key ON then pull them off put the overlay on then put the cluster back in the truck with the lense off and the key ON again and then put the needles on while the key is on so you dont screw anything up. Also only do this when the truck is COMPLETE cold cause the temp sensor will be off if you dont cause it loses heat while you are doing the cluster stuff. Once I get this electrical **** figurd out Ill do a write up on it. Im tired of seeing people have scewed up readings on there clusters after an overlay install.

Or to solve the incorrect reading problem, get a dashboard program for a laptop that plugs into your OBDII port and get the readings from there. While you are driving just put the needles back in the right spot!

My speedo was off so I drove by one of those vehicles they have setup that moniters your speed and displays it to you. For once the stupid things serve a purpose.
