Started a thread last week of getting the truck detailed, then got rear ended on Saturday after our truck club picnic and show.

 

On a good note though, I did take home the trophy for best 88 and newer

Damn. Very clean truck, it looked great last week. Any indication as to the amount of damage and whether its a total loss?

 

Damn that sucks man, is there any frame damage??? Is the jackwad that hit you paying for damages??

 

Should be meeting with his insurance adjuster sometime this week and we will find out. From what I can tell it just looks cosmetic with no frame damage. However I'm by no means an expert. The really jacked up thing is that I pulled off the road onto the shoulder before getting on the interstate to take a phone call. He hit me while I was parked at least three or four feet off the shoulder.

I got reaar ended in my 99 by an olds acheiva, she took trailer hitch through the side of her block, my frane was bent down at a 45* angle and i drove off after police were done.....think weve all been there
