Hey, thanks guys! I'm lovin' this truck, it's a ball! I'm in Nixa, Mo. That part is the hard thing... hard to keep it clean when you have the s**t weather in the winter that we do. It's a daily driver... I own a mobile personal training business, so I carry equip. around the Springfield metro area kickin' client's a**es!!! My clients call it the "Hot Rod". I'll post progress.

Thanks man... I guess I agree w/ the size matters thing , but I can't complain about the better gas mileage that my 4.8 gets- seeing how I drive this thing alot! My buddy's 5.3 avgs. 13 mpg and mine avgs. 17-18 mpg. Sorry, I'm a cheapa**! Plus, this little truck hauls *** compared to my last- a 91 cheyenne w/ 305 I look forward to being able to do gears...I hear these trucks really respond w/ the 4.10s! Anybody chime in regarding gas consumption w/ 4.10s. Still waiting on the centerlines( freakin' UPS!)....

The drop is from McGaughys outta Modesto, Ca. It's a 3-4 drop, using spindles and springs up front, and shackles and hangers out back. It's very well made stuff! They have two spindle types available: one for those of us who had to use the stocker 16" wheels, and one for 17" and up. The 17+ spindles are evidently WAY easier to put on... no flippin anything. Mine were a major pain in the culo! If I didn't have help doin' it by a friend that fabs race cars, I would have been lost. It rides great- they send it with Doetsch Tech shocks out back, and a soft ride shock of their design up front. I think a DT shock up front is needed too. I think with sways, I'll corner like a camaro. Anyway, nice people at McGaughys... highly recommended! P.S.- it doesn't affect your turn radius either, like bell tech.
