Default Got a new DD...

well finally convince the wife that WE needed a diesel to pull the travel trailer alot easier.... (well atleast thats the excused that worked!)... my gasser would pull it fine on straight highway but on some small hills you can definately feel the load back there.... plus the 8mpg pulling was not enjoyable... so i found this diesel last week and will be picking it up tomorrow..... I have to say, i have never driven a diesel and when i test drove this truck i was surprised of the power these trucks have..... its is completely stock and will be staying like that unfortunately... im looking forward for the gas mileage that people claim on these things... by the way, NO thats not my house...lol..

its a 2007 Classic LBZ 2WD LT3...

Looks clean! You need to atleast put an exhaust on there. Buddy of mine has an 07 classic that has around 50,000 miles. He kept saying that it didn't run like it did when he first bought it. So I gave him a 4" muffler I had laying around, and while he was at it he gutted the cats. After he put everything back on, it's a night and day difference from what it was before. SOTP felt like probably 40-45 hp. But the cat was clogged pretty good.

yeah you can expect about 17 mpg depending on speed and load. on the highway going 70 in either of our dmax trucks with a 6-8k load we get between 16-19 miles to the gallon.

To get the best MPG, it takes a little tuning(do your research), and it takes driving habits that I apparently do not possess.

Congrats on the new truck! Looks nice.
