Default going lower

I was kind of thinking of getting the hotchkis drop and 18 inch boyd timeless 6 on a 285/50 or 255/55. After looking at some of the trucks on here kind of think it will be to low for me. Would a 1/3 not be enough and leave to much fender gap or should I just go ahead and get the hotchkis.

Go with the Hotchkis kit. It may look too low in pictures but it's not once you see it in person and get used to it. I wish mine was lower but I wouldn't trade my Hotchkis drop for anything.

the hotchkis kit is great feels nice and handles great
Sorry to hijack the thread
but
The rear end of the my hotchkis kit rides a little high
I have no spare no mounting hardware no trailer hitch and no bumper in the rear roll pan
it is normal to be 2inches higher ?

I would say No. When first installed mine sat perfectly level and had recently settled to .25-.5" lower in the back. Others I have talked to have had no sagging whatsoever with theirs so.. Sounds to me like Hotchkis has a nice variation in the arches of their rear leafs.
