Default Gmc Rcsb V8?

Do you guys in this forum own every single RCSB V8 GMC out there? I've been casually looking and I swear the only ones that exist are right here.... lol Did you all order them in that config.?

it seems as the rcsb 5.3's are limited for some reason, most of them have the 4.8

Check the newspaper classifieds, ebay, autotrader, automart, yahoo. If you do find the one your looking for and purchase it, then by all means welcome to the club. Laters,

I miss my 99, it is hard to find GMCs. I think Chevy puts out more production than their GMC line!?! I want to get rid of my car and get another RCSB Sierra.

Yeah I had the same problem back in 02. There wasnt a new V8 GMC RCSB between Houston and San Antonio For like 2 months. Kinda strange since bigger has always been better in Texas. I finally got mine here in Corpus. I also found there were a bunch of EC with the V6 on the dealer lots as well. Who would really want one of those?

Chevy was hard to come by, for some reason they have really like putting the 4.8 and v6 in the regular cabs, hell even in the ext. cabs. My truck with the color I wanted took me a couple of months and when I found one I found anotehr it just so happened it was on a dealer that I know the owner. makes it alot easier to buy when you get the best deal possible. keep looking and don't settle for anything but what you want.

If you're looking for new, go to the chevy or gmc website and build your own and then search dealer inventory for a like model. That's how I found mine. If you're looking used, good luck. The 5.3 sbrc are hard to find.
