Default GMC headlights

I was wondering if anyone knows if they make a headlight without the amber in it.My friend has a GMC and he says he can't find them.I think i remember seeing something about taking that piece out of the headlight but maybe it was the corner lights, don't know.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

First of all, what year is your friend's truck?

I have an '01 Sierra and I had to use a razor blade to cut the silicone to separate the 2 pieces of the headlamps and remove that orange reflector from inside. Then just put it back together and silicone it shut. I believe that is true for the '99-up GMC trucks. Don't bother doing that with the blinkers. Just get some good clear corners (not APC).

As far as I know, no one sells the headlamps without the reflectors. I think because they are required by law, at least here in Cali they are. But who cares?

Yep, what Chingon said. I used 2 screwdrivers and worked my way around the headlight housing. Be careful not to break the 4 plastic tabs and you also have to remove 2 metal tabs. Headlight mod
