Default GM 22" Wheels?

Looking to order my truck and I'm not thrilled with the color options. Considering the silver and was unsure on the rim options. Not a huge chrome person. I saw the "22" 7-spoke Silver wheels with Black inserts" and online they seem to look okay. $3k option for those wheels and tires.

My problem is that a truck with those rims (or anything at 22") is an hour away. The rims look like a darker silver, which might look okay on the silver truck. Not sure.

I also don't know how those wheels would look on the truck. I don't know if they would look proportional to the truck, since it's a truck...I know I would never get them on a car. Not exactly my style out here in the country. I would keep a set of smaller rims and tires for the winter.

Any feedback from others?

OEwheelsllc.com makes really good quality replicas. They sell 22" with bridgestone tires for 1500-1600ish. I've used their wheels before on my camaro and a lot of F body guys do. Never heard a single complaint about them.

Saw a new silverado on 22" yesterday and it looked good.

Check craigslist for take offs too. You can get em less than 3k and then you will have 2 sets of wheels.

My Denali has the 22’s you are speaking of but with chrome inserts, the truck is white frost, they look good on the truck, 285/45 I think is the size. I’d like to put the same wheels on my little truck

Did anyone ever try 17" rims on?

I found a set of 4, new 17" take off's but I want to be 100% sure that a 17" rim will clear a 4x4 w/ Z71.
