When you open the glove box theres a metal bar on the driverside that divides the glove box into two parts a large and a smaller box. Is that metal bar used for anything? I was wondering because I want to cut it out and put my playstation in there and it won't fit with that bar there .

If it looks structural and it's under the dash you probably shouldn't cut it, you can end up with all kinds of annoying squeaks and rattles if you do so.....you should try to reroute that brace as opposed to removing it altogether
