Gel Coat...
What are your thoughts on driving around for a few weeks with a bare, gel coated fiberglass hood? You know, ricer style. 
I need to get some estimates, but it doesn't fit flat in my bed. Hell, hauling it home, I got road tar on it. 
I'm worried that the bug goo and road grime won't come out during prep and screw up the final product.
