Default Front Speakers and Amp?

Hey guys. I've got an 04 z71 extended cab. It has the bose speakers. So far I have an eclipse preamp to run my amp and subs. I am looking at getting a component system for the front. I was looking at the new fosgate power 6.5 inch. It comes with 2 pairs of tweeters. I was wondering a couple of things. If I just hook this up using stereo power, would it make any difference. Also, if I hook up an amp to these running through the preamp, is it hard to track down the speaker leads to hook on to without redoing all the wires. Do these trucks have a factory amp.

the only reason I want the fosgates is that they have 2 pairs of tweeters along with the 6.5 sub with seperate corssover outputs for each tweeter. When you amped the components, did you have to run all new speaker wires through the doors?

Are you running that factory deck? You won't have to run new wires for that if you do other than splicing into the factory ends in the doors. If you do add the amp, you will have to run new wires. That's a lotta highs. BTW, I used Boston Acoustics.

I'm running the factory deck, but using an eclipse preamp/crossover. It boosts the output signal to 9 volts. I'm gonna hook these us to factory radio power for now, but plan on adding an amp for the components in a few weeks.
