Nothing personal....but can we keep the jokes about that out of here.....I am a die hard dog lover, and I do take offense to the jokes. Yes it happed, but it really does suck for the dog, and the owner.

Nothing personal to you, I am a big dog lover as well, but at least I am able to joke about it to not take it as hard rather than getting pissed off about it. Yes it does suck for the owner and it is sad but they should have taken more responsibility for their dog and not let it just run loose in the streets. I hate the fact that I killed the dog but I also hate the fact that the insurance quote was over $1300 for my front end.

I am not pissed....Just asking that the tasteless jokes be kept off the board. If you have a problem with the insurance company, maybe you should look for the owner of the dog. It is not the Dogs fault that your truck was damaged.

As I read this, I was hoping BlownChevy wouldn't stumble accross it. I agree, enough about the dog.

Being two tone makes it a tough choice. I would paint it whatever color is on the top part of your truck. I know it is a lower piece, but looking at a different colored hood and lower valence from the front would just look odd imo. Just my thought

Ok, sorry to offend you, I agree it got a little out of hand. No more talk about the dog. Back to the bumper subject, I went ahead and got a stock one here in town for $160 until I figure out what to do with it. I was thinking the Denali cover because its different and go with the top color like Ryan said because I think it would look odd from the front to have a black painted grille and hood and have a different color front bumper on it. I have actually been thinking about getting the bottom painted black so it would be solid, I just don't have the funds right now. I guess I'll wait and see what kind of money flow I have in the near future. Thanks for the input everyone, it was greatly appreciated.

Sucks. Wasn't a labrador retriever (spelling?) was it? They're such good dogs, I'd hate to see one bite the bullet.

Not sure what it was, it was big enough to be though. I drove a few blocks to my apartment to look over my truck and make it driveable, but the dog wasn't there when I went back that way. On cloudy nights the street lights here have a huge gap and my headlights are almost useless, he was in one of the gaps between the lights and I just didn't see him until he looked up and I got the gleam off of his eyes but by then I didn't even have enough time to let off of the gas before he went under the truck.
