I have the same problem on the roof of the truck with the birds. The stuff hardened on there and now it won't come of with regular washing. How can I get this crap off?

Try some degreaser, just make sure you put a coat of wax or polish or something back over that area, being the degreaser will 'strip' it away.

just get you some bug and tar remover. Or go cheap and buy you some diesel fuel to put on it. Then put you a heavy coat of wax on it like meaquires {spell} gold glass. You really only need to wax your truck once ,maybe twice a year. All other times use polish. You get wax build up over time and it wont look near as good as one done this way.

No just the freakin air here in Cali!

I washed it off, but it left a nice stain that will not come off. I had a detail shop for 10 years and know auto finishes pretty well. This $hit will not come off!
