Angry Found the culprit

well I took the nitro drop shocks off tonight and put my stock ones back on.
the driver side nitro shock doesnt even extend when unloaded.
the passenger nitro shock, is a little weak in my opinion.

the stock shocks do ride better and its not as bone jarring as just riding on leaf springs(as that is basically what I was doing with the blown nitro shocks).
I did notice that I still bottom out every once and a while, but not like I was with the blown nitro shocks.
I wonder if I buy some good shocks, if it would fix this problem?

Yes. I run KYBs up front and Monroes in the back, but YMMV with steel springs, I generally need to run more shock than most people.

I read somewhere that somebody had a system running two pairs of very soft shocks in the back. I think it was on an F150 but still I think it's a good idea.

dude, caltracs will prevent bottoming out. I run them preloaded, and they help ALOT!
