I believe they are around 17% from the factory. 15% or 20% depending on what your tinter has will match nicely.

Then ask your tinter. They should have a little gismo that will read how much your factory tint is. My bet is you will get 20% or 15%.

Factory tint is 18%, 20% matches real good, 15% works well too. You can still see at night through the factory tint. My advice is to go dark 5% all the way around, 35% on the windshield, haha. Saves your interior and you can run the A/c on low.

By the way TURBHOE, I checked out that link of your tahoe at the strip, you got that thing running well man. I would love to have one with a turbo on it.

I have 5% up front and 18% over the factory tinted rears. Matches almost perfectly, dark is a tad darker than up front. But it's barely noticeable. Honestly, 5% tint is not nearly as dark as I thought it would be. The 18% over factory out back is perfect, no one can see in, but still no visibility issues at night.

thanks guys for the comments on the vid!! and thanks for the help. i guess 20% just isn't as dark as you would think. now the factory tint is made into the glass, right? i will be getting a brow for sure. i hate using sun visors. constantly having to move them around. tinted windows and a hd hood and the exterior of my truck will be just about as i want it.

sorry for doubting you jakebrake.
